According to informed sources, Apple and suppliers have been working together for at least one year on the development of larger touch screen devices.

Apple spokesman Trudy Muller declined to comment on the news.

Apple CEO Tim Cook is now trying to revive the iPad product line. iPad is Apple's second largest business following the iPhone, but sales of the product have declined for two consecutive quarters.
