Dr. Hua Yanping said that beam adjustment can be done in the remote office through Andrew's ANMS (Antenna Network Management System). These three waveform adjustments allow the radio operator to easily redistribute the coverage capacity of the base station network cluster by changing the traffic distribution when making combined adjustments. This greatly improves capacity efficiency while reducing or preventing the addition of redundant new cellular sites or radios. The flexible system of smart beam antennas can also improve network quality by providing stronger signals, reducing interference, reducing the number of dropped calls, and increasing data rates.
The smart beam works in a three-dimensional adjustment with a new generation of drivers mounted under the radome.
