To this end, it is necessary to create a vehicle dynamic field test equipment and establish a more objective, simple and accurate measurement method to evaluate the road lighting quality.

Professor Ye said that since the light information acquired by the human eye in road observations is brightness rather than illuminance, the target can be identified when there is a difference between the target light and the road surface light; this difference refers to the luminosity difference, which contains both brightness and It also contains the dominant wavelength (hue) and color purity (saturation); the three can be identified as long as one of them differs.
The road lighting dynamic measurement method is characterized by: simulating the human eye to observe the road surface while driving; instead of fixed-point detection, it simulates the driver's driving process for dynamic detection, which more truly reflects the scene seen by the human eye; The vehicle-mounted instrument simulates the driving path of the car for dynamic measurement; it more objectively, comprehensively and accurately reflects the whole process of the human eye in the driving state; the measurement is mainly based on the brightness, and the illuminance is supplemented; the true feeling of the human eye is reflected faithfully, There will be a sense of "scratching the boots"; there is no need to block the road, the social cost is low, and it has strong operability. And save labor, save time, safety and reliability.
Prof. Ye introduced the dynamic measurement method in detail from the technical point of view. For example, the selection of the measurement section has a typical flat road surface in terms of the pitch, height, overhang, elevation angle and light color of the light source; in the longitudinal direction of the straight path, measurement The area should be between two fixtures in the same column, with the first fixture 86m in front of the observer.
In addition, Prof. Ye introduced the measurement conditions of the road site during dynamic measurement. For example, when installing a new LED street light, it should be ignited for 168 hours. The light output of the road lamp to be tested is basically stable before measurement. The stability of the light output is detected during the measurement process, and the center light intensity drift should be less than ± 5 %. Before the measurement starts, the lamp should be ignited for 30 minutes before measurement. It should be measured at the rated voltage (± 10% of V). Dynamic measurements should be taken on clean and dry roads and on the site, and should not be measured during the bright moon or when the measurement site is wet or snowy. It is not advisable to measure on a road covered with shade. Stray light should be removed from the light receiver and should be protected from shadows and blockage by various types of personnel or obstacles. If necessary, turn off the street light to measure stray light and give it back in the calculation.
