LED display is widely used due to its advantages of convenient use and low price. Its display interface can be divided into static display and dynamic display according to the driving method. Although the static display has high brightness and no flicker, it has the disadvantages of large power consumption, high I/O port and high cost. In the case of tight I/O ports, dynamic display is often used. Currently, there are many dedicated dynamic display interface chips available on the market. However, these chips are generally more expensive and are not suitable for use in inexpensive systems. Some dedicated chips (such as the MC14489) use hardware decoding, which displays a limited amount of information, which is difficult to meet various requirements and affects its application. Here, a low-cost, good-effect LED dynamic display circuit is introduced. Through software decoding and serial display mode, a large number of I/O lines are saved, which can display not only numbers but also most English letters.
1 Hardware description and working principle
The main hardware includes: single chip PIC12C508, two shift registers 74HC595, eight LED digital tubes, eight current limiting resistors of about 220 Ω.
1.1 Introduction to PIC12C508
PIC12C508 is a CMOS microcontroller developed by MICROCHIP with low price, low power consumption, high performance, 8-bit, full static and so on. It uses a RISC structure and has a wide range of applications, especially for portable electronic products.
The PIC12C508 pin diagram (see Figure 1) is described as follows:
GP0: bidirectional input/output port/serial programming data terminal;
GP1: bidirectional input/output port/serial programming clock terminal;
GP2: bidirectional I/O port;
GP3: input port;
GP4: bidirectional I/O port;
GP5: Bidirectional I/O port.
1.2 Introduction of 74HC595
The 74HC595 has an 8-bit shift register, a memory and a three-state output. The shift register is a serial input, 8-bit parallel (or serial) output. The shift register and memory are the input of the clock and data on the rising edge of SR-CLK and are shifted: Q0→Q1→Q2→...→Q7, and enter the storage register on the rising edge of RCLK. When E is low, the data of the storage register is output to the bus. The 74HC595 pin diagram (see Figure 2) functions as follows:
Q0~Q7: parallel data output terminal;
Q7': cascading output;
SRCLK: the clock input of the shift register;
RCLK: the clock pulse input terminal of the storage register;
SER: serial data input;
E: The output is active (low level);
SRCLR: Master reset (low level).

Storage temperature range:
Fingerprint Lock Motor should be stored ta a temperature of -15~65℃.
