Roland Emmerich, director of the "Independence Day" established VR live company VRenetic

Roland Emmerich, director of the film "Independence Day," has just announced the establishment of his own VR company, VRenetic, which aims to make 360-degree panoramic video broadcast easier.

The company has its own free application VResh that can watch real-time VR panorama videos through the smartphone's viewing camera. The project currently uses the company’s own media engine, which will also be used internally and in other applications developed by partners.

In the promotion video, people can see their friends on the beach in real time through VR head-mounted display on the bus. It seems that this is another company that wants to use VR live and social media.

Not only that, VRealetic will release its own VR headset to support the platform. The device only has a lens and a simple frame to hold the phone. It looks very simple. Currently, you can only register for a beta test application and the company's hardware price has not yet been announced.
