Siemens won the 2007 China Most Respected Enterprise Award


Siemens won the 2007 China's Most Respected Enterprise Award in Beijing on April 29 and became the only multinational company in the infrastructure sector among the 25 awarded companies. This is the fourth consecutive year that Siemens has won this award for its outstanding contribution to China and the local community. Ms. Li Jinxia, ​​Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Siemens China attended the awards ceremony and accepted the award on behalf of Siemens.

China's Most Respected Enterprise Award is co-sponsored by the Economic Observer, one of China's most influential media, and the Peking University Management Case Research Center. The award was created in 2001 to advocate that businesses should not be in the business interest, but also focus on society, the environment and the disadvantaged.

A total of 371 foreign and local companies participated in the 2007 China's most respected enterprise selection, and the final 25 companies were selected through a selection committee of MBA, EMBA students and experts.
