Sino-U.S. joint venture to build polysilicon production base in Shen

A few days ago, the electronic grade polysilicon project of Bonis (Shenyang) Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. laid the foundation for the establishment of the Chemical Industrial Park in Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone. The company is jointly invested by Kang Tai Si Global Company and Liaoning Shuangyi Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. With a total investment of 4.2 billion yuan, it will fill the gap in the polysilicon industry in Liaoning Province. The project adopts international advanced silane method to produce polysilicon, and the production cost is reduced by more than 1/3 over other methods. The entire project construction period is 20 months. In 2012, the project can be completed and put into operation.
