Intel will share with you the Ivy Bridge-E processor and the X79 platform for overclocking at this meeting. In addition to the regular CPU overclocking, Intel will also announce some things related to SSD overclocking.

We should not be surprised to see here. In fact, SSD overclocking is not a "black technology," because in fact, the SSD's main control can be viewed as a processor. It has an operating frequency, and naturally it can also improve its operating frequency. In addition, the NAND flash data transmission speed can also be accelerated to a certain extent. The biggest problem faced by SSD overclocking is actually the stability of data after overclocking.

In fact, I would like to say that SSD overclocking is really not necessary, the main problem affecting the SSD performance is the SATA interface, the maximum speed of the SATA 6Gbps interface is only about 600MB/s, only to break through this bottleneck, SSD Overclocking can be useful.

The best solution to this problem is the SATA Express interface currently under development. Its speed can reach 800 or even 1600MB/s. Only after the SATA Express interface becomes the standard, SSD overclocking can get rid of the chicken ribs.
