The AVRH Series has a maximum operating voltage range of 19 V to 70 V and a capacitance range of 4.7 pF to 50 pF. This compact voltage protection device can be used in IEC 1005 operating conditions (EIA 0402) due to its compact size of only 1.0 mm x 0.5 mm x 0.5 mm, which reduces the volume of new components by 75% compared to existing components with comparable performance. . The highly reliable AVRH series also operates from -55 to 150 °C and can withstand 25 kV contact discharge, complies with IEC 61000-4-2 and is AEC-Q200 certified.
The new AVRH series uses TDK's unique coating technology to achieve the high reliability required by the car. Therefore, the AVRH system is suitable for a wide range of automotive ECUs and bus systems such as LIN, CAN, CAN-FD and FlexRay. In addition, the chip varistor can be used in systems using BroadR-Reach, MOST or automotive Ethernet.
