The survey shows that price is the key reason for the repercussions of LED TV in Vietnam. Compared with 2011, the average price of LED TVs in 2012 fell from $805 to $513, a drop of one-third.
Another reason for consumers to buy LED TVs is that more and more LED TV brands and models have emerged in the Vietnamese market. Compared with the 158 models of 10 brands in 2011, in December 2012, there were 13 brands with a total of 267 models in the local market, and consumers have more choices.
