Zhongshan LED street light renovation only four times progress

The reporter learned from the Zhongshan Municipal Bureau of Economics and Information that at present only the LED streetlight renovation project in the four towns of Torch, Xiaolan, Triangle and People has reached the requirements of more than half of the time and more than half of the tasks.

The reporter learned that Zhongshan City proposed to popularize LED lighting in the public lighting field within two years, achieving more than 50% energy saving under the caliber of the year-on-year, thus driving the rapid and healthy development of the LED industry, and achieving an annual output value of more than 80 billion yuan by the end of the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period. It is understood that the reason for the slow progress of the project is that some towns and districts in Zhongshan have insufficient understanding of the promotion and application of LED lighting products, and they have a wait-and-see attitude towards the promotion and application of LED lighting products, resulting in a responsibility book and a work plan. There is work schedule, but there is no practical action.
