A practical power supply anti-reverse circuit

If the polarity of the power supply is reversed, it may damage the power supply or burn the board. The figure below is a practical anti-reverse circuit.

When the power supply is forwardly connected and the input voltage range is +9V to +28V, the gate voltage of the MOS transistor is 2/3Vin or 6V to 18.7V (the gate voltage cannot exceed 20V), and the MOS is turned on. Normal power supply.

When the power supply is reversely connected and the input voltage range is +9V to +28V, the gate voltage of the MOS transistor is 0.7V for the Schottky diode D4, the MOS transistor is turned off, the circuit board has no current, and the LED The light will be illuminated.

If the input voltage is greater than +28V or less than +9V, the values of R23 and R24 need to be adjusted to meet the above conditions.
