"Discovery Discovery" will cooperate with Google to develop VR documentary

The sense of immersion in VR is beyond the reach of traditional media. Some media are trying to combine traditional video content with vr technology to bring the viewing experience to a higher level.

"Discovery Discovery" is trying to cooperate with Google to create a VR travel series documentary across seven continents. With a total of 38 episodes, the documentary will explore North and South America, Australia, Asian traditional culture, Africa, Antarctica and Europe. Former Emmy award winner Sascha Unseld will be the creative producer of the series. He has directed the VR video of the Oculus Story Studio "Dear Angelica VR."

The user can watch the program by logging into Discovery TRVLR through Google Tray Glasses. The show will also be broadcast on Youtube and discoveryvr.com. The user can also download a dedicated APP to watch.

VR will soon become a thriving industry, from travel agencies to airlines will use immersive applications to allow users to explore the distant land on the sofa. At the same time, media and television networks, such as The New York Times, USA Today, and HBO, will all be combined in the form of news, entertainment and documentaries with vr technology.

"Discovery Discovery" has become a mainstream media that actively promotes vr technology. As early as 2015, "Discovery Discovery" made a major technical investment and started to produce VR content. In this process, Discover Discovery found a success point: The company claimed that the “Discovery Discovery” application had received 4.3 million downloads and obtained 1,2300 viewings.

Poly Solar Panel

Advantages of Polycrystalline Solar Panels

The process used to make polycrystalline silicon is simpler and costs less. The amount of waste is also less on the panel itself because of the way the silicon wafers are applied to the panel.

What are polycrystalline solar panels? PolyCrystalline or MultiCrystalline solar panels are solar panels that consist of several crystals of silicon in a single PV cell. Several fragments of silicon are melted together to form the wafers of polycrystalline solar panels.

Polycrystalline solar panels cost less and have a more simple manufacturing process. Polycrystalline solar panels tend to have a lower heat tolerance. There is less wastage of silicon while manufacturing these panels.

How do polycrystalline solar panels work?
They have a square shape and a shining blue hue as they are made up of several polycrystalline silicon. As there are multiple silicon crystals in each cell, polycrystalline panels allow little movement of electrons inside the cells. These solar panels absorb energy from the sun and convert it into electricity.
