Acceleration charger
StoreDot Ltd, a start-up company based in Tel Aviv, Israel, has released a prototype of a charger that can power the phone's battery from near no charge to full charge in 30 seconds. They expressed the hope that the technology will speed up the charging process.
Semiconductor technology charging
StoreDot Ltd is developing bio-semiconductor technology using naturally occurring organic compounds called peptides, or proteins that basically construct short-chain amino acids. This technology can be used in many ways, such as accelerating charging time. The charger is expected to cost twice as much as a regular mobile phone charger and sell for about $30. StoreDot Ltd said it plans to start commercial production in 2016.
New wireless charging technology
Sony is developing a new wireless charging technology based on the Qi standard, which can reduce wireless charging time to less than one hour. Sony hopes to introduce mobile phones or peripheral products using this technology in the future as soon as possible. Sony's latest wireless charging technology can provide 10-15 watts of current. In addition, ROHM provides Sony with a main control chip that can support high current. This circuit can reduce the high heat brought by wireless charging. .
Recently, there is news that researchers have recently researched and tested lithium-fluoride-based batteries that can be placed in smart wearable devices or healthcare devices with a battery life of up to 10 years, without the need for charging during this period. It is mentioned that although this battery has a long battery life, it is based on wearable devices and is not suitable for computers or mobile devices. In addition, this new battery cannot be charged.
