LED downlight refers to a small direct lighting fixture that uses LED as a light source to embed or fixedly mount the ceiling light down. The purpose of dividing the luminaire by caliber is to standardize the specifications of the circular LED downlight to realize the interchangeability of the embedded LED downlight.
For embedded LED downlights, the diameter of the fixture refers to the maximum outer diameter of the downlight associated with the installation aperture of the building, as shown in the figure below.

According to the size of the LED downlight, the round embedded LED downlight can be classified into 51mm (2 inches), 64mm (2.5 inches), 76mm (3 inches), 89mm (3.5 inches), 102mm (4 inches), 127mm. (5 inches), 152 mm (6 inches), 178 mm (7 inches), 203 mm (8 inches), and 254 mm (10 inches), the corresponding metric-inch comparison tables are as follows.
